Cushion Mount series tapes are closed-cell polyethylene foams with an acrylic adhesive. Sticky back series tapes are hard vinyl mounting tapes for mounting both rubber and photopolymer printing plates to your flexo-graphic printing cylinders. These tapes feature an aggressive rubber adhesive coated on a hard vinyl carrier which makes them an ideal choice for harsh printing environments, where high temperature resistance and long run durability are required. Acrylic Mount tapes are primarily used for printing solid or fine-line graphics. These tapes allow for maximum ink coverage in block solid replication. Adhesive allows for easy plate repositioning and reusability. Heat, Ink and Chemical Resistant. One-Piece, clean removal for faster cylinder clean-up. Available with special liners to avoid air entrapment during application.

Thin Mount Tape

Thin Mount tape series is primarily used for bonding temporary printing plates to PVC or polyester substrates for flexographic printing applications.  Upon application, the liner is removed and the plate is ready for attachment to PVC mounting materials, which carry thick polymer printing plates into a flexo-corrugated printing station.  Thin Mount tapes are suitable for use in plate build-up or in press-low spot correction.  Available with acrylic, rubber or differential adhesion.

4563-Printer’s Friend Smooth Version -

4563 is a 16Mil non-embossed siliconized cloth with a thermoset rubber adhesive.  Ideal for roller wrap applications which require high surface friction and high grip.  Typically used for evenly spreading tension across the web in the film, paper, and other various industries.

4863-Printer’s Friend Dimpled Version -

4863 is an embossed, siliconized cloth with a thermoset rubber adhesive.  Ideal for roller wrapping on any style of converting machinery.  The unique design guarantees a high coefficient of friction that grips the web as it passes over rollers to keep material moving.  A special release coat keeps inks, coatings, or adhesives from building up on the rollers or drums.

3M5401 Roller Wrap -

3M5401 is often applied to rollers in printing, converting, and other web processing by hand in various wrap patterns to give traction to the roller while also providing a non-stick surface. Provide traction to material passing over the roller yet also give a non-stick surface for adhesives passing over the same surface as well. Tape is conformable and can be applied to rollers in spiral wrap or other formations.  Product should remove cleanly after use with a minimal amount of clean up.
