Window Manufacturing Tapes

The Industrial Series is the workhorse of Innotec’s product line. It is the most extensive line of fabrics, serving a broad range of industrial and general-purpose applications. These fabrics are manufactured from woven fiberglass substrates, possess an optimal PTFE content, and leave a minimal fabric impression. As Innotec’s most popular and versatile fabric series, Industrial Fabrics provide the highest value to customers by offering an excellent balance between heat transfer, release, and flexibility.

The Industrial Series PTFE Tapes (Welding Tapes) utilize PTFE Fabrics but have the added benefit of an adhesive on one side. These tapes are manufactured from woven fiberglass substrates, possess an optimal PTFE (Fluon®) content, leave a minimal fabric impression, and have a proprietary silicone or acrylic adhesive system. Because of the glass reinforcement, this series of tape is resistant to cold-flow, a characteristic inherent in pure unsupported PTFE films, these tapes are an excellent choice when cut-through, load carrying, or harsh industrial environments require the unique surface characteristics of PTFE. As Innotec’s most popular and versatile tape series, Industrial Tapes provide the highest value to customers by offering an excellent balance of heat transfer.

The Gold Series is specially engineered to maximize application life while minimizing down time in the welding production process.  The proprietary coating formation was developed to reduce abrasion, increase lubricity and prevent leaching into the materials.  In tests carried out in the PVC window industry, the Gold Series product line has shown to last significantly longer than equivalent products that are supplied by other manufacturers.  Innotec can supply this product line in full width, slit rolls or fabricated/custom pieces.

The Industrial and Gold series fabrics are also available as dimensioned fabric and pre-manufactured pouches/sleeves to your specifications.

Window glazing tape is a High Performance double coated PE foam tape which is designed specially for the window glazing/window manufacturing industry. The Window Glazing foam is a closed cell cross-liked polyethylene, which is coated both sides with a high performance solvent-based acrylic adhesive that offers higher initial tack and peel strength. It is used to create the inside and/or outside seal between the insulated glass panel, window sash or door material, to prevent the air and water leakage. Also the Window Glazing foam has an outstanding resistance to weather for outdoor applications, as it provides a superior seal against dust and moisture do to the flexible, soft foam material. The easy peel poly release liner allows for continuous and complete liner removal during the window glazing application. All products offered have passed the Expanded Cellular Glazing Tape by Dallas Laboratory and AAMA 810.1-05 certified.
