3M583 Heat Tac is a heat or solvent activated dry film adhesive for bonding dies to plates. Once activated this film softens and provides a permanent bond to the surface on which it is applied.  Specially formulated for bonding materials in the textile and ribbon industries. 
*Bonding film 3M583 must be stored at or below 40F (4C) for maximum storage life.

To make a bond, remove liner and place the adhesive film between the two substrates. The bond is made through heat and pressure using a heated press or similar equipment. Since bonding film 3M583 has a slight surface tack, in some cases it may be tacked to a substrate with pressure only (no heat). For optimum bonding, the heat, pressure and dwell time for using 3M583 will depend upon the type and thickness of the substrates being bonded together. A suggested starting point; however is to use the bonding conditions described below. To minimize voids in the bond line, increase pressure.

3M928 is a high-tack/low-tack double coated tape with many repositionable, re-usable, or re-closable uses. Excellent balance of peel and shear adhesion. Adhesive will not discolor during long-term bonding. No residue. No delaminating from most paper stocks. Applications include: core start up, tabbing, pop displays, bag and envelope closure. 3M 928 is identical to 3M9416 for the hand-held ATG applicator.

JR185 is a non-hardening, flexible, permanent indoor and outdoor adhesive.  Primarily used for mounting plastics, banners, signs, and foam letters onto brick, concrete & porous substrates without using mechanical fasteners. Not recommended on smooth or stucco surfaces. Silicone glue is recommended for added security.
