 3M420 & 3M421 are 5Mil pure lead foil tapes coated with a compounded, synthetic rubber adhesive system. 3M420 & 3M421 exhibit excellent adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces including metal, glass, films, foils, and papers. Highly malleable and can conform to the most intricate patterns. Protects parts from water, dust, chemical damage and radiation. Ideal as a “stop off” mask during electroplating and permits masking of x-ray film.
