Silicone Coated Fabric & Belting

Teflon Coated Fabrics | Teflon Belting | Tape Dispensers

Silicone Coated FabricsThe Silicone Coated Fabric Series is the most conformable, flexible, trackable, and wear resistant product line offered by Innotec of WI, Inc. This series is made from woven fiberglass substrates that have been coated on one or both sides with silicone rubber. These fabrics provide a higher friction surface with different release qualities than PTFE coated fabrics. In fact, some products that may adhere to PTFE coated fabrics may not adhere to silicone coated surfaces. Available in multiple colors and with multiple plies, (up to three), these fabrics are used in applications where a surface grip with excellent release is desired.

Silicone Coated Fabric Characteristics

Silicone Coated Belts are engineered to retain the distinctive properties of PTFE; however, by adding a glass fabric to the matrix,  there is an  added benefits of dimensional stability, excellent tensile strength and extremely low elongation (<1%). Silicone Coated Belts have received USDA approval for food processing and handling, and are FDA compliant (21 CFR177.1550). In addition, the Silicone Coated belts can operate in temperatures from -400°F (-240°C) under static conditions and -100°F (-73°C) under dynamic conditions up to 500°F (260°C).
