Skived Teflon Film Tapes
Skived Teflon film tapes have a higher elongation with greater conformability than high modulus Teflon film tapes. Skived Teflon film tapes provide a conformable, non-stick, slick surface. As well as exceptional strength and abrasion resistance while maintaining superior release properties. Virtually unaffected by chemicals. The low friction properties of skived Teflon make it a prime choice for mechanical applications, from lining guide rails to wrapping airframe wire harnesses. Ideal for protecting extrusion and laminating equipment during the plastic extrusion coating process. Applications also include heat sealing and high temperature roller wrapping. Wrinkle free and tear resistant. Clean removal. Meets MIL spec requirements.

These films have exceptional abrasion resistance, while maintaining superior release properties. Extruded Teflon film has less tendency to have edge curl during unwind due to its’ unique manufacturing process. These tapes are the ultimate roller-wrappers.
